There are about 40-60 crimes daily in the South of Market area, which lies between Embarcadero to Eleventh Street and Market to Townsend. Many of the crimes occur in the same areas. This crime map shows where reported crime happened in SoMa on Sunday, April 17, 2011. Its very similar to the CrimeMapping.com map, only that if you click on the little orange guy on top of the zoom bar, you can see the street view.
